Good news, everyone! Professor Putricide is dead.




The circle is now complete. When I left you I was but the learner. Now I am the master.

So the end of 2009 draws near, Christmas ia upon us and with that a break from 25mans for three weeks or so.

It has been an interesting year for HoM, a difficult year at times with old members departing WoW, but a positive end to the year too.  In it's 5th year HoM has found renewed strength with many new members and officers from Monzghul, Jinxit, Toothie et al who joined us from Snowstorm Entertainment to others such as Immobolised and Astee who have more recently joined us but settled in well.

HoM are now 4/4 in the released ICC content on both 10 and 25man, as well as an impressive 4/5 in TotGC25 and 5/5 no wipe clearence with several completely different groups in TotGC10.

While some members may enjoy the break from wow over christmas so much they will decide to leave us (and hopefully let us know if they do) as happens most years, there may be a few spots opening in HoM come the new year.  With us now being a good way through our 5th year on Frostwhisper, having turned 4 a good way through this year and with the progress we have, I can imagine interest will be high so we do expect many good quality applications to come our way with the extension to ICC.

In other news our very own world famour Director Cape has taken time out from casting for "Two Orcs, One Cup" to produce a new movie entitied "The Worgen".  The movie poster is below and we hope to have a video soon - make sure you look up his later works too if you havn't seen them yet! :)

Tonight was a dark night for the Lich King, although to be fair he does often like them that way.  However, tonight his prized lueitenants - the Twin Val'kyr were physically abused by the HoMrade strike force.

While Valerio, Toothie and Kaerilus weaved their ways through the hundreds of shiny orbs thrown at the raid, everyone else huddled for warmth in the corner of the room, instagating a mass orgy involving the twins.  The twins resisted, but it was not enough and soon they were felled like the Alliance Champions Chumps before them.  With the deed finally done, it was Jinxit who cried the fateful cry "Your Mom!" to Arthas as he smashed the floor angered at the defeat.

Anub will soon follow, and Icecrown - home to the Lich King himself!



Current recruiting status - Interested in exceptional aps from Feral and Resto Druids, most other spots are closed.  However, we are always interested in exceptional aps from all classes!

Yup, 2nd week running and facing a different PvP set up, our brave and homo-erotic Hunters of Men ventured forth into the heroic 25man arena in the Crusaders Colosseum once more!

Facing the pitiful champions of the alliance, they turned out to be little thread to our rag-tag group and only Toothie was knocked unconscious and required no less than 16 combat resses during the fight!  Venturing further in the tournament, the Lich King's prised twin lieutenants were pressed hard and nearly succumbed to the relentless insults thrown by Ixnaynia.  However, they lived to fight another week, but only just!  The hunters will return this week to plunder the twincest before Icecrown Hits!

Currently 3/5 in 25man TotGC and 5/5 0 wipes with two groups in TotGC 10man - Hunters of Men are doing limited recruiting currently to booster the ranks ready for the assaults on the Ice Crown Shitadel.  Use our application form now.

On a side note, cats and Orcs are known to have a proud and glorious history together.  I have seen no better evidence of the ruthlessness of kitty cats and Orcs alike than the video below!



Ok Ok! I'll admit - this news post was entirely written to satisfy my need to post that video! Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute!

With only a few hiccups on Beasts and Jaraxxus, a truly epic 20 minute battle with the champions of the Alliance ensued. Not since the days of yore (the Lurker Below with half the raid dead) has such a battle occured.

As ever, Kaerilus died more than one could 'kaer' to mention, his ugly orc face being too much for the alliance to handle. Fellow Warlock Toothie more than made up for his class leaders' breathing issues by putting Melador Valestrider completely out of the fight, keeping him banished to the elemental plane. Though the alliance ignored Monzghul's insults, they could not ignore his icey chains and they could only look on dispondent as they were helplessly led on a merry dance over the frost patches left by Valerio and Phiro. Ultimately the Hunters of Men were victorious, with the alliance dogs left in the dust!

This is just a taste of what the future will bring for HoM! The Twin Valkyr's are next up. Keep tuned sports fans.

After looking on with amusement at Lord Jaraxxus dispatching a trifling gnome, the Eredar Lord fell to the mighty HoMrades with relative ease (particularly in comparison to the weeks of wipes on the Beasts). Summoning other demons to aid him proved to be of no avail, so he swiftly lay down and handed over his loot.

Thanks to all involved and a big grats to the lucky lootsters. Since screenshots in the trial arena are pretty boring - heres one of me with the awesome axe Jaraxxus left me.



Onwards to Faction Champions!

Thats right, HoM now have two seperate 10 man groups to complete A Tribute to Insanity (sans one crossover)!
Thanks everyone for the effort they have put in, now lets translate this to 25 man progress!

Its been an interesting time for HoM in recent months, since we have been joined by a contingent from the old alliance guild Snowstorm Entertainment. This has revitalised the guild and pushed us on to defeat alot of difficult encounters.This includes one 10 man team competing Tribute to Insanity and 2nd with a Tribute to Skill. 25 man heroic Northrend Beasts was also downed last week.

Tonight Glory of the Ulduar Raider (10 player) was completed by a number of brave HoMrades who spurned the help of Mimiron, Freya and Hodir to defeat the God of Death. A big thanks to Monzghul, Jinxit, Toothie, Diflyx, Silperti, Dizzyizzle, Bonzy, Dellwinton, Vanilje and Screamager who were involved in the various raids that comprised the completing of the meta achievement.
